Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy focuses on evaluating and treating the musculoskeletal and behavioral aspects of conditions involving the abdomen and pelvis.

The pelvic floor muscles sit within the pelvis, between the pubic bone and tailbone and are involved in bladder and bowel function, sexual function, organ support and postural stability. They work together with the deep abdominal muscles, low back muscles and respiratory diaphragm. They play a pivotal role in spine and pelvic support and stability throughout movement.
